Baumann Automation has adapted the service to the current situation with the "Baumann Smart Service App".
In order to be able to provide virtual support and guarantee the best possible plant availability. With the "Smart Service App" application, Baumann Automation offers extended diagnostic possibilities through augmented reality.
And this is how you can use the app:
Baumann Automation provides you or the Baumann service technician with Smart Glasses (data glasses) as a "digital eye" for diagnostic possibilities. Alternatively, you can use the camera from your Android smartphone as a "digital eye".
In addition, important information (drawings, plans etc.) can be streamed to the display of the data glasses or the Android smartphone. The Baumann employee in the service office sees the status of the system, the mechanics etc. and can therefore provide you or the service technician on site with targeted support.
Several participants/supporter and customers can be connected to the session.
Virtual preliminary acceptance
It is also possible to carry out preliminary inspections with the glasses. This has the advantage that you no longer have to come to Baumann Automation in person for this, but that the preliminary acceptance can be carried out virtually.
Furthermore, the "Smart Service App" enables virtual support despite travel restrictions. Especially in the current situation caused by the coronavirus, there is no need for technicians to travel.
Because with the "Smart Service App" Baumann Automation enables worldwide, virtual support in the shortest possible time, which is guaranteed online around the clock.
The security of customer data has the highest priority at Baumann Automation. The control of the app or the data transfer takes place only by instruction and with your consent as the user.
The data itself is transmitted via an encrypted VPN tunnel. The transmission server is installed at Baumann Automation in Amberg and guarantees secure data transmission.
