With the "Baumann Smart Service App", we have adapted our service to the current situation in order to be able to support you virtually as well, and to guarantee the best possible system availability. Using our "Baumann Smart Service" application, we offer extended diagnostic possibilities through Augmented Reality.
And this is how you can use our app:
We will provide Smart Glasses (data glasses) as a "digital eye" for diagnostic possibilities to you or our Baumann service technician. Alternatively, you can use the camera from your Android smartphone as a "digital eye".
In addition, important information (drawings, plans etc.) can be streamed to the display of the data glasses or the Android smartphone. Our Baumann employee in the service office sees the status of the system, the mechanics etc. and can therefore provide you or the service technician on site with targeted support.
It is also possible to carry out preliminary inspections with the glasses. This has the advantage that you no longer have to come to our premises to do this, but we can do it virtually.
The security of your data is our highest priority. The control of the app or the data transfer takes place only by instruction and with your consent as the user.
The data itself is transmitted via an encrypted VPN tunnel. The transmission server is installed at our premises in Amberg and guarantees secure data transmission.
